Meet the Doctors

 

    Bill Guerrera, DVM

 

  


Bill graduated from Colorado State University in 2002, with a strong interest in avian/exotics.  He has worked at the Denver Zoo, and has been involved in several field studies including mountain gorillas in Uganda and sea turtles in Costa Rica.  He enjoys anything outdoors, but has a special fondness for bicycling.  Bill is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Rachel, and has two daughters Tess and Cecilia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Katrina Knepler, DVM

 


Katie graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Upon graduation she and her husband moved to Colorado, where she practiced both small and large animal medicine and surgery. She discovered that she really enjoys small animal and exotic medicine and surgery and joined the staff of The Animal Doctor in 2005. She enjoys traveling, gardening and hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter and just about any other outdoor activity in between. Katie and her husband share their lives with their Boxer, Brussels Griffon, canary and cat.


   

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mischa Rotkovich, DVM, CVMA

 


Mischa received her DVM degree from Colorado State University in 2000. Her

professional interests include: Internal medicine, oncology and soft tissue surgery using laser technology. She is a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist and is trained in physical and massage therapy. Each spring, Mischa serves as a Clinical Preceptor for the annual acupuncture course through CSU. Mischa lives with her two children, Jordan and Jaelyn, and a flat coated Labradoodle. She enjoys all outdoor activities, watching movies, community service, and traveling.

 

 

 

 

 

Mindy Mullins, DVM 

 

 

Mindy Lives in the mountains of Boulder, CO with her husband and 2 year old daughter. Mindy moved to Colorado from the east coast 5 years ago. After visiting on vacation, she and her husband never left. Mindy completed her DVM degree at Ross University in 2002. She followed her heart directly into emergency and critical care, and has continued with her passion over the last 9 years. Mindy works as an ER veterinarian part-time, while still working at The Animal Doctor. In her spare time, she is a devoted mom who loves to travel, hike, run and bike.

   

 

 

 

 

 

 Chad Stewart, MS, DVM

 


Chad earned his MS (Comparative Pathology) and DVM degrees from the University of California-Davis in 1999 and 2003 respectively.  After graduation, he practiced both small and large animal medicine and surgery in New Mexico and California.  After several years, he realized that small animal practice was his calling, particularly internal medicine.  Chad recently relocated to Colorado due to his love of the mountains and just about any outdoor activity.  Some of his other passions include playing music (guitar, ukulele and drums), as well as watching movies and reading books. Chad and his wife, Amanda, have 2 dogs (Avery and Gibson), 1 cat (Sydney), and a baby boy on the way.
