Community Involvement

Since 1986, The Animal Doctor has participated in Broomfield Days, an annual event that focuses on bringing the people of Broomfield closer as a community.  We host the "Best Dressed Dog" contest, judged by members of the community.  Our office provides free preventative veterinary care for a year to the grand prize winner.  We also hand out educational materials, pet food and snack samples at our booth.  Join us at the next Broomfield Days at the end of September.

Since 2003, we have offered professional photo sessions of you and your pet with Santa.  Photo packages are available on site and as Christmas cards.  Pictures with Santa are taken at our location the first Sunday in December.

Since 2005, our staff members have pulled together to help out a family in need during the holiday season.  This year, our clients also helped through a holiday giving tree.  Our goal each year is to provide the children with gifts, the family with food, and remind ourselves of the true meaning of Christmas.

As a clinic we have also participated in “Race for the Cure” and “Race for Research” to benefit cancer research.  Our staff is involved with the House Rabbit Society, Rocky Mountain Aviculture Society, and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association among others.  Our doctors and staff frequently attend both local and national continuing education programs, associations and organizations.
